At Von Aries a lot of time, energy, effort, money and a great deal of planning is put if to all of our breeding, and our breeding are truly exceptional. Each combination is bred to be a perfect match. most of the time breeders call us and ask which breeding we think will be the best. The fact is, it's the COMBINATIONS that make great dogs, not the individual parents. Though quality of the parent has to be very high and they must be a true representative of their bloodline, but in the end if you are not able to combine two lines that will complement each other you will not produce a dog that will make a mark. Regularly we see that other kennels have bred to a top German dog. However, almost none of these pups turn out to be top quality and most don't make it to the Working Classes at the Sieger Shows.
Reasons? Improper pairings and mother lines that are substandard. Most breeding nowadays put all their focus on Stud dogs that they forget a key factor in breeding, Mother and Mother line..............
If you breed a thoroughbred horse to a donkey what will your result be, a mule neither and horse nor a donkey.
If you visit our female page you will find the quality of the female and the proven mother lines we breed from.
This should give everyone an idea what we are talking about.
(P.S. to all the breeders whom are always borrowing intellectual property from my website I understand that mimicry is the highest form of flattery, thank you )
